In 2024, the global aviation industry is projected to carry over 4.5 billion passengers, reflecting the continued exponential growth of air travel as it becomes increasingly accessible. The sector now contributes approximately 2.5% of all human-induced CO2 emissions worldwide.
Notably, around 80% of these emissions stem from flights exceeding 1,500 kilometers, for which no practical alternative mode of transport currently exists.
As the demand for air travel continues to soar, managing the increase in CO2 emissions is more critical than ever. Adopting environmentally conscious strategies to address climate change comprehensively is essential.

We have implemented various social initiatives to offset carbon, reflecting our unwavering dedication to sustainability. Our efforts are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13, Climate Action, as we work towards a greener future in aviation.

Before coming together as Karwaan, each one of us has contributed in our way to make this planet a better place to live in.
Our journey as individuals has always included conscious decision-making, where each one of us has been a part of a massive plantation drive in which we planted 10 lakh trees.

What we do at Karwaan?
Karwaan’s unique service offers an opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability through our unique social programs. We believe our customers are our most important stakeholders and so we believe in providing a holistic experience to them. With rising CO2 emission levels and honoring the Paris Agreement, 2015, we approach our clients to make a more sustainable/conscious choice.
We endeavor to make each flight carbon negative through our reforestation project and campaign that aims to negate the carbon footprint by measuring the emissions produced during the total flying hours of a particular trip booked with us. With each journey, we are contributing to a sustainable future.
